Trash The Dress Contest Winner!

Thanks to everyone who entered this contest. It took us half a day of contemplating to finally choose the winner. You certainly came up with ideas that were incredably creative and we really enjoyed reading all of your ideas. The reason we chose the winning entry is because we feel that it is going to give us the best options for both photography and video.

Here is the winning idea:

I would LOVE to do a TTD shoot at my fiance's farm and/or the farm he works at (they are close by)...WITH him too! He's a farmer and loves the farm life. If he wasn't so busy in the spring and summer, we would have definitely gotten married then...with a little farmin' involved! Since we're doing a winter wedding, it would be AMAZING to get some farm shots in the spring (or summer)....could even be fun in the winter too, with snow!

The best thing about a TTD at the farm, is that there are SO many great locations to get dirty! AND to get some great shots! Here's some for example:*Riding/driving the tractor*On the hood of the tractor (while he is 'driving' perhaps...)*In the field and the mud with the cows and dogs (I thought it would be cool to have the dogs get muddy and jump up on me leaving dog footprints on my white dress...!)*In the corn fields*In the hay fields*ON the hay bales*In the barn among A LOT of hay, down and dirty, right in the thick of it!*On the dock of the pond...dangling my feet in the water before I get in to splash around to end the shoot with a BANG!!! FULL submersion, wet hair and all! Also, if we do a little travelling around the farm, there are some amazing walking trails among the trees. AND, in the middle of nowhere (hidden at the farm), is an oasis - a gorgeous pool with stunning rock formations surrounding it...it's really unbelievable and could be a good alternative to the pond (or I could do both, clean pool first, then dirty pond!)

I'm pretty sure there is also an area with a cement dam and stream of water too...another option for cool shots!

Congratulations to our winner!
