Unsolicited Testimonial From F&R

We recently posted F&R's engagement shoot photos (see Valentine's Day Engagement Shoot at York University). Here's what F wrote on a public forum:

We had so much fun at the shoot! Nika and Sane are phenomenal to work with!

I cannot wait to see what they put together for our wedding day!! I couldnt believe how creative they were even though the photo opportunities at York were limited! They were able to work with our vision and put something together that was inspired and still captured what was special to us!

This is a beautiful love story.

A few months ago, Sane and I were asked by N (the husband) to sneak into his house and photograph his wife's paintings when she wasn't at home. Those photographs were later used when he put together and published a book of her artwork side by side with his beautiful poetry.

As if publishing a book wasn't romantic enough, here is the story of how he surprised her with it:

He asked a friends to invite his wife out. He then took all of her paintings off the wall and went to the gallery that he rented, put them all up and then we waited for the friend to bring his unsuspecting wife to the gallery. She was shocked and emotional when she realized that she was having her very first art exhibition!

Once she slightly came down from the shock of it all, N presented her with the book.

When she was asked what she had to say about it all, her response was:

"There's only one word for this.... LOVE"

Valentine's Day Engagement Shoot at York University.

On Valentine's Day, we met F&R at York University. We began with this outdoor shoot of F waiting for R to meet her in front of Vari Hall where they both attended classes when they first met.
